Tasty Snacks Can Be Healthy

Healthy snacks include eating some fruit (don’t overdo it).  I don’t recommend banana consumption since it is too sugary, affects asthma sufferers and is too gooey for your digestive tract.  Organic berries are the best fruit snack as they have the most antioxidant punch with the least fructose.  A moderate amount of nuts (not peanuts as they contain aflatoxin) are good to snack on.

What do I snack on?

  • Almonds and raisins
  • Avocados w/ walnut pieces
  • 1/2 an avocado with sea salt
  • Cashews
  • Walnuts
  • Apples
  • Berries
  • Berries in Coconut Milk
  • Carrots
  • Celery with Almond Butter
  • Sugar Snap Peas
  • 2 ounces of 70% dark chocolate on occasion
