About me: I was raised to think that going to the doctor and taking prescribed medication was the only solution to my medical problems or illnesses. Having an active dislike of medications and their side effects and being of an open mind, I discovered the personal benefits of acupuncture at age 26. I decided to become an acupuncturist after my very first visit. Acupuncture made me feel great...more energized, healthier, happier and full of life. My goal at Mandarin Healing Center is to "spread the health" through acupuncture and health education here in Jacksonville, Florida.
My training: I received my Master's Degree in Acupuncture and certification in Chinese Herbs from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in South Florida (now located in Gainesville, FL). While in acupuncture school, I also became a Reiki Practitioner and certified instructor of Pan Gu Shengong qigong.
